Evergreen Leadership Circle

Eveevergreen_logo-01rgreen Leadership Circle Development Program

In 2015, we launched a professional development opportunity for members only.  The Evergreen Leadership Circle series began with a free Leadership Development Session led by Kris Taylor, author of “The Leader’s Guide to Turbulent Times,” on January 29th at Matchbox Coworking Studio in Lafayette.

What is Evergreen Leadership Circle? The Evergreen Leadership Circles bring together groups of 10 to 15 emerging leaders across the community for a eight month leadership development experience. The overarching aim of these circles is threefold: to develop the leadership skills demanded in today’s environment, to create community, and to instill accountability in transferring what is learned to both the workplace and community. The circle meets from March through October.

“Kris Taylor is why I joined the circle. I looked at Kris’s book and I thought that I needed to be talking to somebody who is a seasoned leadership professional. I am still in the middle or beginning of my career, and I wanted to have that mentoring from somebody who has done more than me.”

– Jillian; Vice President of Nonprofit

“I am at the beginning of my leadership career. The leadership circle has encouraged me to keep going, and learn new things. It has also opened my mind to new thought processes, and I now see how things I learn in our sessions can be applied to my work to help me continue to improve.”

– Theresa; Educational Administrative Professional
